Miss Tara - Tara Hoisington, owner and director of Inspired Sprouts, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Syracuse University and a Master of Music Degree in Voice Performance from the New England Conservatory. She has performed roles with several regional opera companies including Syracuse Opera, Knoxville Opera, Lake George Opera Festival, Longwood Opera and the Seagle Music Colony.  Tara was first introduced to the Music Together program through her experiences as a former pre-school teacher and nanny. In December 2004, Tara successfully completed the Music Together® Teaching Workshop developed by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, New Jersey. Once she started teaching the program herself in 2005, she was hooked!  In addition to teaching mixed age Music Together classes, Tara has also taught Babies, Big Kids Family Music and MT pre-school classes.  Tara has also served as a mentor to teachers who are new to Music Together.  In December 2006 she was awarded Music Together Certification Level 1 from the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, NJ, having demonstrated outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy and parent education.  In September 2008 with the birth of her daughter, Tara’s eyes were opened up all over again to the magic of early childhood music. Tara has recently established her own company, Inspired Sprouts, so that she is able to share her love of music and early childhood education with the families of Springfield, Union and the surrounding area.

Miss Leslie - Leslie Adler joins Inspired Sprouts to teach Music Together after 27 years of teaching music in the Metuchen school system.  While in Metuchen, Leslie was responsible for the music education of children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Leslie is known as a specialist in the area of child voice development. She has conducted clinics for the American Choral Directors Association and New Jersey Music Educators Association. Her choirs have performed across the Northeastern United States, including Carnegie Hall and the United Nations.  Individual students have consistently been selected for honor choirs at the state, eastern and national levels. Mrs. Adler had the honor of conducting the prestigious 2003 New Jersey Elementary Festival Chorus.

Currently, Leslie Adler is the artistic director of the Springfield Community Children’s Chorus. It is for children in grades 3-6 who love to sing. Leslie lives in Springfield with her husband, daughter, and 2 cats.
